Description
CBS India Pale Lager – 2-row malt and a combination of Weyermann malts create a nice straw color. This beer is fermented with Lager yeast at a cold temperature removing any signs of fruity esters that are normal in regular IPA’s. While this Lager is indeed heavily hopped, the bitterness isn’t over the top. The flavor is crisp with a hop punch that delivers plenty of bitterness across the taste buds. Floral and citrus notes dominate while the clean malt backbone keeps the flavor balanced. Lightly toasted grains and bready notes are perceived finishing with a nice hop bite on the palate. CBS’s IPL is dry hopped on the cold side to maintain the clean style of a lager. It is very refreshing and hoppy.
